Mushrooms turned out to be more than just a hobby for Hunter Vargo. What started with a simple grow kit during quarantine became the beginning of a business that changed the direction of his life.

At 17 years old, Hunter had no fancy equipment or big budget. He learned the basics from YouTube, built a small grow setup with things he found around the house, and started growing enough mushrooms to bring to a local restaurant. That first “yes” gave him the confidence to keep going.

Over time, his mushroom business outgrew his bedroom and moved into a nearby farm, where he traded feeding animals for space to grow. Today, he supplies restaurants and one of the biggest farmers markets in Scranton, but getting there wasn’t easy. From contamination problems to long workdays and constant trial and error, every step taught him something new.

In this episode, Hunter shares what mushroom farming is really like, how he found his first customers, why relationships matter more than fancy marketing, and the lessons he learned by building a business instead of following the path he thought he had to take.

The final night of Season 21 auditions is here — with all 10 Golden Buzzers already used, the judges had to get selective, leading to a new Judges' Callback Round.

Highlights include Pynk Beard, a songwriter behind hits like Alessia Cara's "Scars to Your Beautiful," wowing the judges with an original country song that Howie Mandel called "a hit" and Simon Cowell agreed with. Also featured: a father-son country band from Michigan, a group of police officers performing as a mariachi band, a German contortionist who overcame two years of paralysis, and a returning Howie Mandel impersonator dressed as the devil — plus one of the season's more polarizing auditions.

Meet Michael Hoffman, a former athletic coach who transformed his life through the vending machine business. Starting with just $14,000 in savings and a sharp eye for opportunity, Michael built his vending company, Modern Amenities, into a nationwide operation generating $75,000 monthly in revenue.

Growing up on a farm, Michael learned early lessons about entrepreneurship from his father. After college, he became a traveling athletic coach, making just $1,200 per month. During his countless hours in airports, Michael noticed something: vending machines were everywhere, but they offered overpriced, unhealthy options. This observation sparked an idea that would forever change his life.

Despite having no prior experience with vending machines, Michael taught himself the industry from the ground up. Today, his company stands at the forefront of vending machine innovation, with smart machines that use AI to track inventory, prevent theft, and even recognize customer preferences. His machines can be found in prime locations across the country, serving quality products that break the mold of traditional vending machine offerings.

In this episode, Michael shares his journey to becoming a successful vending machine business owner. Learn how he identified untapped market opportunities, negotiated prime locations, and leveraged AI technology to build a thriving automated retail empire – all while starting from zero industry experience.

every time i pull my hair
well it’s only our of fear
that you’ll find me ugly
and one day you’ll disappear
because
what’s the point of crying it was never even love
did you ever want me was i ever good enough

the boys a liar
the boys a liar
he doesn’t see you
you’re not looking at me boy
the boys a liar
the boys a liar
he doesn’t see you
you’re not looking at me boy

good enough nough nough
good enough nough nough
good enough nough nough

Ice Spice:

and it been what it been, calling his phone like “yo send me a pin”
ducking my shit cus he know what I’m on
but when he hit me Im not gon’ respond
but I don’t sleep enough without you
and I can’t eat enough without you

I met Finn while asking random people to sing in Sarasota, FL. When I ask him what music he likes, I expect him to answer with newer music since he is so young. But despite his age, he has a well developed taste for the classics. So that's what's we sing!

As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).
